Kevin Fallon Presents How to Be a Top Innovator at YPO Innovation Week
YPO Innovation Week 2017 featured 70 signature events across more than 30 countries.
Silicon Valley, CA, May 9, 2017: Kevin Fallon, President and CEO of Pivotal Innovation, presented “How to Be a Top Innovator Through Systematic Innovation” to a crowd of 120 CEOs at the Silicon Valley Summit during YPO’s 2017 Innovation Week.
The Silicon Valley summit featured fourteen presenters over a two-day period. Leading CEOs at the ground zero of global technology and modern invention examined how whole industries are being disrupted. One disruption predicted is in the auto industry. As driverless human transporters enable transportation-as-a-service business models, human transport costs will be cut from $1.60 per mile to $0.25 per mile in the next decade. Fallon’s presentation focused on the need for a disciplined approach to innovation to achieve tangible results.
According to Fallon, “An analysis of over 100 presentations from leading innovation executives, and a review of the state of innovation research from academia and experts, reveals that managing innovation as a discipline trumps many entrepreneurial fads being purported as the next great innovation thing. A systematic approach is customer centric and engages employees in the process. To increase the success of your strategy formulation and performance you need to manage the act of innovation just as you would manage sales or operations with structure and quantifiable goals.”

Kevin Fallon is President and CEO of Pivotal Innovation. He has 30 years of business experience beginning at General Electric and RCA Space, and subsequently as a founder of five technology ventures and as COO with two publicly traded corporations. Kevin holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.
